Themes, Ideas and Keynotes from Past Congress Conferences

Each conference event has developed the theme of building on community strengths and assets in a different way. We have tried to focus on different aspects of what works in developing fair, connected vibrant and inclusive communities on the Central Coast.

Combining Australian and international keynote speakers with local community members in sharing our wisdom together the biennial Congress event has intentionally brought together large and small scale themes and ideas for discussion debate and presentation.

CONGRESS STRUCTURE

The Central Coast Community Congress has no formal structure in the usual sense. Its work and decisions are directed by the Central Coast Community Congress Working Party. It's formal processes are provided through a partnership with the Central Coast Community Council which holds funds and acts as an auspice for the Congress. To view the MOU between the Congress Working Party and the Community Council contact Ed McCarthy at rdo@thecccc.org.au. The Working Party itself has no formal structure or positions. Decisions are made by consensus between all current members of the Working Party.
